Visitation May 9, 2024 - Mass Cristo Rey Church



Visitation will be held Thursday, May 9. 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with rosary at 11:30 a.m. at San Jose Funeral East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., (915) 590-8700. Funeral mass will be held at Cristo Rey Catholic Church at 1:00 pm, 8011 Williamette.

Albert Herrera 63, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024. He was born July 01, 1960 in El Paso TX, and graduated from Bel Air High School class of 79'. He worked at Tri-state for 25 years and retired from Ysleta Independent School District as a Security Officer after 22 years. Albert made everyone laugh with his random remarks and jokes. His magic shows were filled with comedy skits and he loved dressing up as Santa to bring joy to children. He loved spending time fishing and camping especially surrounded with family in Ruidoso. He was an advent motorcycle rider all his life and loved the Dallas Cowboys unconditionally. Albert was preceded in death by his mother Maria Elena Herrera and his son Ruben A. Herrera. Albert is survived by his wife Anna M. Herrera; daughter, Melissa Herrera (Arturo Jr.); grandson, Marcos R. Herrera; father Salvador Herrera(Margie) and his 5 siblings, Salvador (Martha), David (Josie), Arturo (Fred), Michael (Letty), Ashleigh (Jovani), and several beloved nieces and nephews.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
