Alicia was hardworking and a great cook, starting with her homemade tortillas & red chile, sopa & beans, plus everything else she cooked!!

She worked at Hicks Ponder (Wrangler) downtown for a lot of years and still got home to cook and help the family with whatever needed to be done. She enjoyed her last years of working in retail stores, helping customers. Then, she was able to retire and relax a bit after a lengthy career. Throughout her life she enjoyed music (she had a wonderful voice), and dancing. She loved anytime being with her family on holidays, specials days or any day. She was always ready for anything, including any obstacle that arose. She was always available for her sons and daughter, grandchildren & great grandchildren or anybody that needed anything. She was well respected and loved by many people. She will truly be missed!!!
