Alicia R. Aguirre

October 17, 1929 – June 16, 2025

Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt Alicia R. Aguirre, 95, entered eternal rest on Monday, June 16, 2025. She is lovingly survived by her son, Henry Aguirre Jr., daughter, Yvette Aguirre, Grandson Enrique Aguirre III, living sisters, Carmen Roman Vige and Socorro “Cora” Roman Hinson. 

Alicia was a truly altruistic soul—compassionate, spirited, and full of grace. Her love of music and singing filled every space she entered, just as her warm heart made room for every dog she ever met and every person she cared for. Her children were her greatest pride and the center of her world.

Known for her forthright nature, unwavering honesty, and extraordinary character, Alicia lived her life with authenticity and purpose. She touched countless lives with her kindness, generosity, and steadfast loyalty. Her legacy is woven into the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her, and the cherished memories she leaves behind will continue to inspire and uplift.

She lived fully, loved deeply, and gave selflessly—and in doing so, made the world a better place.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935 (915) 590-8700. Funeral mass will be Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 8600 Winchester Rd, 79907. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd., 79907.
