Cecilia Martinez

Cecilia Martínez, age 65, passed away on March 26, 2026, in El Paso, Texas.

Cecilia was born to Norma and Eliseo Arellano and was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She leaves behind her children, Norma Molina, Jaime Betancourt Jr., Daisy Ponce (RIP), and Antonio Ponce

She is also survived by her siblings, Maria Guadalupe Andrade, Norma Garcia, Mónica Padilla, Marco Arellano, Eliseo Arellano, and Cynthia Lucey, along with many extended family members and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.

Cecilia dedicated 25 years of her life working at Levi, where she built lasting friendships and was known for her strong work ethic. Outside of work, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved spicy food, enjoyed dancing to cumbias, corridos, rancheras, and oldies, and was a big fan of Los Reileros.

She was a woman of strong character—loving, vibrant, and unforgettable. Cecilia was known for her loud voice, which carried not only her words but her spirit, filling any room with her presence. Those who knew her will remember her strength, her love, and the many moments of laughter and joy she shared with family and friends.

Though she is no longer with us, Cecilia’s love and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be Friday, April 3, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935 (915) 590-8700. Funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Funeral Chapel A. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
