Cecilia Varela beloved mother, grandmother and sister was called by our Lord on Tuesday, September 09, 2025 at the age of 87. She is survived by her children, Robert Varela, Victor Varela and Isabel Medrano and sister Susie Holguin. Also survived by a host of family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 02, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935 (915) 590-8700. Funeral mass will be Friday, September 03, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Santo Niño de Atocha Catholic Church., 210 S. Clark Dr., 79905. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd, 79907.
