Eric Scott Spink

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Scott Spink who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 21.

Eric attended Eastwood High School and was known for his love and enthusiasm for being able to fix anything. He loved working on cars, trucks, dirt bikes, computers and motorcycles. Eric filled our lives with laughter, curiosity and endless energy. His kindness reached everyone he met and always tried to make others smile.  

He had an easy charm that made people feel valued and seen. His generosity extended far beyond words as he gave time, encouragement, and a listening ear to anyone who needed it. He loved animals and felt it was his duty to rescue any stray cat or dog he saw wandering the streets and would often find homes for them. Eric was known for his sharp wit and sarcasm, yet he was curious, compassionate and endlessly funny.  Eric will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Eric is survived by his mother Laura Martinez Spink, his Grandmother Teresa Martinez, Grandfather Thomas Spink, Aunt Teresa Quintero, Uncle Richard Martinez III, Aunt Michele Spink and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his Father Scott A. Spink, his Grandfather Ricardo B. “Marty” Martinez and his Grandmother Candace Spink.
