Esperanza Anchondo
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Esperanza Antunez Soto Anchondo, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world peacefully on August 28, 2026. Born on April 7, 1952, in Cd. Juarez Chihuahua. Esperanza lived a life full of love, compassion, and warmth that touched the lives of all who knew her.
Esperanza was a woman of remarkable grace and style, known for her impeccable taste in fashion. She never stepped out without her makeup perfectly applied and her hair beautifully styled, embodying a timeless elegance and confidence that inspired those around her. Her radiant smile was a beacon of warmth, capable of making anyone feel welcome and valued in her presence.
Her career as a caregiver for the elderly was a testament to her nurturing spirit and compassionate heart. Esperanza dedicated her life to caring for others, offering comfort and kindness to those in need. Her ability to connect with people and make them feel special was truly a gift.
Family was the cornerstone of Esperanza's life. She cherished every moment spent with her son, Ramon Anchondo, her daughter-in-law, Michelle Anchondo, and her beloved grandsons, Patrick and Ethan Anchondo. Her grandsons were the light of her life, and she always had a sweet treat ready for them. Esperanza's love extended to the family dog, whom she adored and treated as one of her cherished grandchildren, often sneaking morsels from her plate.
Esperanza found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was watching her favorite shows or spending quality time with her family. Her presence brought a sense of comfort and happiness that will be dearly missed by all who had the fortune of knowing her.
A celebration of Esperanza's life will be held on September 6, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home, located at 10950 Pellicano Dr., El Paso, TX 79935. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor the memory of a truly remarkable woman she was.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Brandon and the staff at the Davita Center for their years of dedicated service, as well as to Nurse Michael and the staff at Providence East Campus Hospital for their compassionate care.
