 Esther Concha

March 15, 1968 - July 20, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Esther Concha, who left this earth on July 20, 2026, to live her true free-spirited essence. 

Esther was the beloved daughter of Robert and Martha Concha, born March 15, 1968. She is a cherished sister, a devoted partner to Eric and stepmother to Jessenia, a loving pet parent, and a treasured family member and friend. Esther was the Senior Communications and Development Specialist at Via Mobility Services out of Boulder, Colorado, where she dedicated over 20 years to advancing the organization’s mission through strategic storytelling, donor engagement, and community outreach. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, artistic soul, compassionate heart, and the unique light she brought into the lives of everyone who knew her.

She had a deep appreciation for nature, spirituality, and the interconnectedness of life. She often spoke about the beauty and mystery of the soul's journey beyond this life, finding comfort and wonder in the thought of what awaits us after death. Those conversations now bring peace to her loved ones as they imagine her spirit free to explore the heavens she so often dreamed about. Esther lived with limited scleroderma, a complex autoimmune disease, and lived holistically to manage it.

Esther leaves behind her loving parents, Robert and Martha Concha; her devoted partner, Eric, and stepdaughter Jessenia; her beloved pets, Abbie, Elliot, and Taju; her siblings Gabriel (Nancy), Robert (Luli), JoAnne (Juan), Michael (Cecy), Belinda, and their children with their families (Joseph, Stephanie, Alex, Michael, Giovanni, Juan Carlos, Samantha, Alyssa, and Celina); extended family; and countless friends whose lives were forever enriched by her kindness and generous spirit.

The Concha family and Eric extend their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. They ask that you continue to keep the entire family in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn this loss.

A celebration of Esther's life will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 (Visitation 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Rosary 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM) at San Jose Funeral Home, 10950 Pellicano Drive, El Paso, TX 79935 (915) 590-8700. The Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Little Flower Catholic Church, 171 Polo Inn Rd. El Paso, TX 79915.
