In loving memory of our beloved

Francisca Q. Pinon

Our beloved Penky was small in stature but larger than life. She had a fiery spirit, a loving heart, and a personality that could never be forgotten. She spoke her mind, loved deeply, and brought laughter wherever she went. As she got older, she became known for having absolutely no filter, and those who knew her wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

The love of her life was her beloved viejito. They shared a beautiful marriage built on faith, devotion, and unconditional love. Anyone who knew them knew they were always matching from head to toe, making sure they wore the same colors wherever they went. Side by side, they attended Mass every Sunday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, living their faith together and setting an example of love and commitment for their family.

Her family was her greatest treasure. She loved fiercely and wholeheartedly, and there was nothing more important to her than spending time with the people she loved. She created traditions that will forever live in our hearts. Easter was one of her favorite holidays, and everyone looked forward to it. She would fill eggs with flour to crack over our heads and even put flour inside piñatas, making sure every celebration was filled with laughter and unforgettable memories.

Penky found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved tending to her yard, caring for her beautiful rose bushes, dancing, and listening to her favorite singer, Vicente Fernández. She was an expert rock-and-roll dancer and could light up a room with her energy and smile. She also enjoyed her beloved Jack and Coke, which she lovingly referred to as her "Candy Coke."

Everyone seemed to know Penky. It wasn't uncommon for someone to walk up and say, "Hola, Penky!" only for her to throw her hand in the air and respond, "¿Y tú quién eres?" leaving everyone laughing. Her quick wit, sass, and sense of humor were part of what made her so special.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we are grateful for the countless memories, traditions, lessons, and laughter she leaves behind. She was the heart of our family, a woman of strength, faith, and endless love. We will forever miss her hugs, her laughter, her dancing, her honesty, and her spicy spirit.

Thank you, Penky, for teaching us how to love fiercely, laugh often, and cherish family above all else. Your love and legacy will live on in every story we tell, every family gathering we share, and every memory we hold close to our hearts. Until we meet again, you will forever be loved, forever be missed, and forever be our Penky.
