Francisco Casas
Con un profundo dolor, cariño y agradecimiento celebramos la vida de nuestro padre, abuelo y bisabuelo. Fue llamado al lado del Señor el 25 de Septiembre de 2025 a los 96 años; falleció pacíficamente rodeado de su familia. Nació en Jerez, Zacatecas, México, hijo de Cayetano Casas y Juana Cabrera. Le sobreviven sus hijos Gabriel, Rubén, Manuel, Amelia, Emigdia y Antonio; así como numerosos nietos y bisnietos. Le precedieron en muerte su esposa Romana Dorado y sus dos hijos, Jesús (fallecido en 2007) y Jesús (fallecido en 1956). La familia expresa su más sincero agradecimiento al personal de The Hospitals of Providence - Sierra Campus por su atención compasiva. Entre sus muchas pasiones, Francisco disfrutaba especialmente jugar billar, un pasatiempo que le brindó alegría y emoción en sus últimos años, y escuchar rancheras pidiéndole a Alexa que pusiera sus canciones. Su memoria vivirá a través de su familia y de las muchas vidas que tocó.

Among his many passions, Francisco especially enjoyed playing pool, a hobby that brought him joy and excitement in his later years, and listening to rancheras by asking Alexa to play his songs. His memory will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.
Francisco Casas, 96, of El Paso, Texas, was called to be by the lord’s side on September 25th, 2025, he passed peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born in Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico, the son of Calletano Casas and Juana Cabrera. He is survived by his children Gabriel, Ruben, Manuel, Amelia, Emigdia and Antonio; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Romana Dorado and his two sons, Jesus (death in 2007) and Jesus (death in 1956). The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff of The Hospitals of Providence - Sierra Campus for their compassionate care. A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on October 9th, interment to follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery.
