In Loving Memory of

In Loving Memory of Hector Vasquez

With profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Hector Vasquez, who departed this life at the age of 73.

For 24 years, Hector proudly served his country in the United States military, embodying courage, discipline, and unwavering commitment. His dedication to protecting others did not end with his military retirement. He continued his life of service as a peace officer for 15 years, standing as a steady and reassuring presence in his community. He believed deeply in duty, honor, and integrity — values he carried not only in uniform, but in every aspect of his life.

Above all his accomplishments, Hector was most proud of his family.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Vasiliki, the love of his life and steadfast partner. Their bond was built on loyalty, laughter, strength, and enduring devotion.

He was a proud and loving father to his children, Christopher and Vasi, who carry forward his values, strength, and quiet wisdom. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren — Jenna, Georgia, Tyler, Julissa, and Giancarlo — each of whom brought immense joy to his life. Nothing lit up his face more than hearing their laughter or sharing stories from his days of service.

His love extended even further to his five precious great-grandchildren — Kennedy, Wrangler, Abilene, Julia, and Russell — a living testament to the generations he helped shape through his guidance, love, and example.

Hector was a man of steady strength, quiet humor, and deep compassion. To those who knew him, he was a protector, a teacher, and a source of unwavering support. He believed in showing up, standing firm, and loving his family fiercely. His life was defined not just by the years he served, but by the lives he touched.

Though he has laid down his earthly watch, his legacy of service, honor, and love will endure for generations. His watch may have ended, but his impact never will.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
