Visitation will be Monday, December 4, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 10:30 a.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935 (915) 590-8700.


Funeral mass at 12:00 noon at St. Fracis Xavier Mother Cabrini Catholic Church.


Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.

Hector Luis Murguia 78 was born on April 23, 1945, and Peacefully gained his Angel Wings on November 23, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. Hector was born to Seferino (Shorty) and Gloria Murguia, he was raised in El Paso, Texas. He was a graduate from Bel Air High School Class of 65, Joined the US Navy in 1966, was Honorably Discharged, later joined the Naval Reserves, and went to UTEP. A few months later Hector met the love of his Life Dolores Murguia after revving his engine and racing her down Trowbridge. Unfortunately he lost the race, but he gained a wife for 55 years. Hector was a Loyal Dallas Cowboy, Lakers, and Yankee Fan who loved Horse Races. He traveled to many Race Tracks and Casinos Hector was survived his Wife Dolores Murguia who he Cherished, his Daughter who Loved and Adored him so much Terry Ledezma, The Apple of his Eye Jazmine Marie, his Little One Olivia Ximena, and his Son in Law/ Best Friend Albert (Beto)Ledezma.
