Jose Alfredo Hernandez



Beloved by all who knew him, Jose Alfredo Hernandez was born on August 31, 1959, as the youngest son of Elena and Juan Hernandez. He was a proud graduate of Ysleta High School. Jose is survived by his siblings Alberto, Maria, Margarita, Jesus, and Dora. He was preceded in passing by his brothers Rudolfo and Juan. He also leaves behind his beloved goddaughter, Monic, along with many nephews and nieces whom he loved dearly.

Jose was passionate about many things, especially his pets. His dogs were always a meaningful part of his life. Above all, he was known for his remarkable cooking skills. From tamales to bizcochos, cooking brought him joy, comfort, and peace. His passion led him to start his own business, “Elenitas Cakes and Catering,” later known as “Hernandez Catering.” Jose loved sharing his food and his heart with everyone around him. He will be deeply missed.
