Services will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 9:00 am and the rosary at noon at San Jose Funeral Home 10950 Pellicano Dr., El Paso, TX 79935.
Her final commitment will be at 2:00 pm at
Memorial Pines Cemetery, 3061 Memorial Pines Rd. Sunland Park, NM 88063.

Maria de Jesus Santillanes, 82, of El Paso, TX passed away January 11th, 2024, with her family by her side. Maria was a loving and devoted daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Maria was a hard worker and enjoyed dancing, reading, helping others and most of all, she enjoyed traveling and meeting new people.
She was born to parents Felipe Osornio and Eligia Gonzalez, January 4, 1942, in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua.
Maria is preceded in death by her parents Felipe Osornio and Eligia Gonzalez, husband Ruben Santillanes and her brothers Felipe, Roberto and Luis. She is survived by her children Ruben (Tony) Santillanes and Lorena Casson, son-in-law Charles, grandsons Nicolas and Alexander, great grandchild Cayden, family friends Guillermo Lozano and Olivia Carrasco. She is also survived by an extended family and longtime friends and neighbors who will cherish and honor her memory.
