Maria Jesus Mejia

March 24, 1941 - November 12, 2025

Maria J. Mejia passed away on November 12, 2025, peacefully joining her beloved husband, Felix Mejia, in heaven. Although her family grieves her loss deeply, they take comfort in knowing she is reunited with the love of her life. Maria is lovingly survived by her three children Rebekah Mejia, Melody Ann Becerra (Richard), and Benjamin Mejia (Rocio) each of whom she cherished and supported with unwavering dedication. She was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren: Celina and Emily Garcia, Joshua Robert, Luke Benjamin, Rachel Rebekah, and Phoebe Yvonne Becerra, and Abigail, Gabriela, and Ariana Mejia. She also leaves behind one precious great grandchild, Jane Athena Garza, who brought her endless joy.Maria was a woman of extraordinary strength, both in spirit and character. Her faith guided her through every season of life, and she lived with a quiet courage that inspired everyone around her. She was the kind of mother and grandmother who showed up always whether with a warm meal, a gentle word, or a fierce determination to help her family through any challenge. A hardworking woman who never gave up, Maria built a life rooted in love, resilience, and generosity. She had a deep appreciation for the simple beauties of the world. Her garden was her sanctuary; she could make anything bloom, and she poured the same care into nurturing her family.
To those who knew her, Maria was the best of the best. Steadfast, thoughtful, loving, and full of grace. Her laughter, her hugs, her gentle strength, and her tender presence will be missed more than words can express. Maria leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion that will continue to grow in the hearts of her family for generations. Though she has gone home to heaven, her spirit will remain with those she loved, guiding them with the same warmth and strength she shared throughout her life.
