Inez Escobedo.

Our sister, Inez Escobedo, was the heart of our family, and it is with profound sadness we announce her passing on December 17, 2025 at the young age of 61. Lovingly known to many as “Nina,” Inez was a pillar of warmth, strength, and grace. As a retired teacher, her career of 25 years was more than a profession; it was a testament to her kindness. Inez worked at Hart Elementary for her entire career. She dedicated her life to shaping the minds of others, touching countless lives with her patience and her caring presence. Inez is now reunited with her parents, Carmen and Jesus Escobedo, and her brother, Lorenzo. Her memory will be forever cherished and kept alive by her siblings: Jesus Escobedo Jr., Teresa Zamarripa, Carmen Escobedo, and her 5 nieces and 4 nephews, along with a large community of family, friends, and former students.
