With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Robert Hysaw Jr., who entered eternal rest on August 4, 2026.

Robert was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  Throughout his life, he created many treasured memories and touched the lives of those around him.  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Jewel Lee Hysaw of Dallas, Texas; his sister, Karen Hysaw-Fears and his brother, David Hysaw.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory his father, James Hysaw, and Barbara Hysaw, his Arizona mom; his daughter, Bridget Maxey of Garland, Texas; his sons, Broderick Henderson, Curt Comb, and Devanta Comb; and his siblings, Barbara Hysaw-Adkins, Sharon Hysaw-Stratton, Brian Hysaw (Sherry), Brenda Hysaw-LeBoeuf and Rose Young (Lucious).

He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and three great-grand daughters, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Robert's earthly journey may have come to an end, but his love, his memories, and the lives he touched will continue to live on through those who knew him.  His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will remain forever in the hearts of the people who loved him.
