Rosa Flanagan was a strong woman who impacted the lives of hundreds of people. She spent many years as a teacher of both physical and special education. She was also an active member of her church, Puerta Del Cielo. Rose helped guide teenagers and children in their walk of faith. She also participated in multiple mission trips and youth camps as a chaperone and a leader. Rose had multiple health problems since she was a young adult. On a recent hospital visit, she unexpectedly suffered to the extent of her diseases. She is survived by her sisters Ana Rita Flanagan, Letty Flanagan, her brother Ray Flanagan, her best friend Linda Enriquez, and her nephews and nieces, whom she was a second mother to for most of their childhood, Sophia Flanagan-Ramos, Jacob Ramos, Atianna Rodriguez, and Luis Rodriguez. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935, (915) 590-8700.
