Salvador Montoya

Salvador Montoya, lovingly known as "Chava", passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2026 at the age of 82 leaving behind a legacy of unwavering faith, strength, and love for his family. 

Born on August 25, 1943, he faced life challenges with determination and perseverance. His greatest source of strength was his faith in God. His testimony was one of hope, redemption, and the power of God's grace. His life reflected the words of Joshua 25:14: "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." 

Above all else, Salvador cherished his family. He was loving father to his seven children: Claudia, Jose Luis, Salvador Jr., Yvonne, Martin, Saul, and Jesus. He was deeply proud of each of them, and his love for his children remained constant throughout his life.

Salvador is also survived by his sisters, Martha Velarde and her husband, Peter Velarde; Carmen Dominguez and her husband, Oscar Dominguez; and Patricia Robles and her husband, Cruz Samuel Hernandez, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Salvador was preceded in death by his parents, Josefina Montoya and Samuel Robles, and by his siblings Norma Robles, Juan Lorenzo Robles, Irma Ayala, and Samuel Robles Jr. 

Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. 

Special Thanks to Vicky and Mari his long time caregivers who were always there to watch after him. 

May his memory be eternal, and may the words he lived by continue through those he loved :

"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." - Joshua 24:15
