Our beloved Shawna was a loving mom, daughter, sister, and friend. She received her angel's wings on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. We love and miss her dearly. We find solace in knowing that one day we will once again be together. Shawna was preceded in death by David Fant, Jr., her loving dad. Left to forever cherish her memory is son, DaShawn Boyd, mother, Lillie Fant, sister Kendra Fant, bonus siblings, Marua Fant, Linda Gregory, Anita Thompson, Marcine Wallace, Damon Freemon, Teresa Davis, Moses Davis and DJ Coote and Loving partner for nineteen years, Andre Overton. Other survivors include dear family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr. El Paso, Texas 79935 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Prayer Service will commence 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 718 La Paz, El Paso, Texas 79915 at 12 Noon. Pastor Austin will be Officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
