Wilhelmine Starek Piasecki, 87 beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, equestrian and great friend to all. Entered eternal life April 14th joining her husband (CSM) Tom and youngest son (CPL) Michael in heaven with Jesus. She was born in Dillingen an der Donau, Bavaria, Germany on 14 November 1938. She grew up with her family on a farm during World War II, helping her family raise enough food to survive. At eighteen she moved to Augsburg with aspirations of becoming a seamstress. There she met, fell in love with and married a young soldier, Thomas J Piasecki.

     A devoted Army wife who followed her husband from Germany, to North Carolina, Virginia, Texas and finally New Mexico. During these twenty-seven years she obtained her beautician license, avid equestrian and devoted mother to four rambunctious, strapping boys. Wilma and Tom finally settled down on a six-acre ranch in Chaparral, New Mexico. She was an avid equestrian, belonging to the Paso Del Norte Dressage Society, and competed throughout the southwest on her beloved horses Esbee and Jubbe. In addition to the horses many other critters were had, guineas, ducks, geese, and many dogs, she loved her animals.

     She is survived by her sons; Thomas John Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of San Antonio Tx, Robert and his wife Susan of Richmond Va, William and his wife Doreen of Spring Hill Fa. . Grandchildren; Arthur Lewis, Nathaniel Joseph Piasecki, Kimberly Ann Alton, Nicole Piasecki, Joseph Piasecki, Micheal Piasecki, Kristen Wilhelm Ceniza Piasecki, Stephen Joseph Ceniza Piasecki, LoriAnne Piasecki, Jessica Piasecki, and many great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.

     Visitation, Rosary and prayer vigil will be held at San Jose Funeral Home, 601 S. Virginia St. El Paso TX 79901 beginning at 9:00: Rosary at 11:00 followed by the Funeral Service. Mom will be laid to rest at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery, with Tom Sr. and Micheal at 1:30. A celebration of Wilma’s life will be held at 748 Amador, Chaparral NM, following services at the cemetery.

     Although we are temporarily separated, your loving memory will forever live on in each of our hearts; in eternal life we will all be reunited once again. God Bless - we will always love you.
