Arturo Perez

Arturo Perez Amaya, age 85, entered eternal rest on Thursday,

February 5, 2026. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. In his eyes no one was a stranger.

Arturo was born in Balleza, Chihuahua, Mex. Later moved to the United States where he became a US Citizen and made a great life for his family. He is survived by his beautiful wife Marcy, of 58-years, his 3 daughters, Sonia, Myrna (Israel), and Sandra (Royce), 4 wonderful grandchildren, Justin, Alejandro, Claudia, Valeria, and 2 amazing great grandchildren, Cecilia and Aubrey. 

Arturo was a jack of all trades. He knew how to work on several things, but his passion was carpentry. He would envision something beautiful and build it with his own two hands, for example, building an addition to his home and a huge gazebo where many gatherings were made. His biggest hobby was bowling; he was great at it. Traveled to many places and won several tournaments which won him many trophies and perfect 300 rings. After retiring he didn’t stop, kept building things for his home and family but his focus was painting. He would paint for hours creating beautiful sunsets and beaches. He also loved to cook for family and friends to come over. Enjoyed going to the casino which made him very happy when he won but upset when he lost.

Arturo will be remembered for his gentle heart, his strength, and the love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he cherished deeply.
