Estela of 74 years of age was called by our Lord on Saturday, March 28, 2026. She leaves behind her husband of 47 years of marriage Rodolfo Portillo; son Rodolfo Portillo; daughter Yuridiana Portillo; seven grandchildren, Blanca Estela, Diana Irene, Victor Jr., Nicole, Yocelin, Dyna Alexander and Camila and one great-grandchild Gil Dario; brother Antonio Horta and her sisters, Emma Avalos, Lydia Vargas and Elena Stensgaard. Visitation for Estela will be Monday, April 6, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935 (915) 590-8700. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at San Ignacio Catholic Church, 408 Park St., 79901. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd., 79907.
