German Favela Soto born May 28, 1938, entered into rest on July 18, 2026, at the age of 88.  He is survived by his son, Jose Luis Montoya; brothers, Rafael Favela, Ines Favela and Alberto Favela; sisters, Ignacia Favela and Socorro Favela; grandchildren, Kimberly K. Palacios, Joshua I. Palacios, Priscilla D. Palacios, Brisa Montoya, Israel Montoya and Lluvia Montoya; as well as extended family and friends.  He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home Central, 601 S. Virginia St. El Paso, TX 79901.  Farewell goodbye will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at San Jose Funeral Home Central, followed with the Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama St. El Paso, TX 79930.  Interment to follow to Mt.
