Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a rosary at 11:00 a.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935, (915) 590-8700. Memorial mass will follow at St. Mark Catholic Church at 12:30 p.m.. Interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Military Honors.

Henry Gonzalez
On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, Henry "Hank" Gonzalez transitioned into Heaven. Henry was born on May 29, 1960, in El Paso, Texas. Henry attended “Lamar Elementary” and graduated from “Coronado High School” in 1978.
Henry enlisted with the United States Army as Military Police, where he served for four years at the Presidio of San Francisco Army Base, CA.
Henry joined the El Paso County Sheriff's Office on January 21, 1987, where he served as a Corporal Detention Officer, later promoted to Deputy Sheriff, where he participated in various task forces and details. During the later part of his career, Henry became part of the Sheriff's Office Motor Patrol Division.
Henry retired on January 12, 2019, after 32 years of service. Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Guillermina Gonzalez, daughter Brandie Lee; sisters Gina Gonzalez, Elizabeth Gonzalez, and brother Robert "Bobby G" Gonzalez.
Henry is survived by his loving wife Claudia Gonzalez, son Henry "Trae" Gonzalez (Destiny), daughters Kimberly (Kris), Jessica (Darren) and Brittney (Justin), sisters Tina Gonzalez and Melinda Valverde, sister-in-law Janie Gonzalez, grandchildren Aubrey, Kash, Kennedy, Avery, Alayna, Amelia, Sophia and Riley, niece Mandy Baquera, grand-niece Shaynai B.
Cross, nephews Ricky and Bobby Yanez, Isaiah and Jonah Valverde.
Family members on his wife Claudia's side include Marco and Angelica Arana, Toby Arana, and nephews Andre, Marco, and Santiago Arana. Henry was a wonderful friend too, and left a special impact on everyone he met.
Henry enjoyed playing golf, was a huge fan of football, and was a long-time fan of the “Dallas Cowboys”. Henry loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle on his spare time, had a love for drawing, and above all, his favorite activity was spending time with his grandkids. Henry had a heart of gold, and he will forever live in all who knew and loved him.
Rest easy Henry.. Hooah!!!
