Jose Luis Gandara passed away on April 18, 2026. He was born on July 8, 1945, in Durango, Mexico. To his friends and neighbors in the Segundo Barrio, he was warmly known as "El Gallo."

Jose Luis was a deeply loved and devoted family man. He was known by everyone as a very hard worker and a great provider for his family. He always put his loved ones first and made sure they had what they needed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Consuelo Gandara, and his eight surviving children: Saul, Adrian, Jessica, Erica, Fernando, Maridsa, Adriana, and Jose Luis. He was also a proud grandfather to 20 grandchildren. He is survived by his brother, Jesus, and his sisters, Maria Alicia and Maria Leticia.

He is now resting in peace with his son, Rigoberto, and his brother, Miguel, who passed away before him.

Jose Luis leaves behind a beautiful legacy of hard work and love. He will be greatly missed by his family, his friends, and everyone who knew him.

Visitation to be held Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at San Jose Funeral Home Central from 9 AM to 1 PM; with a Vigil Service at 11 AM.  Interment to follow at Memorial Pines Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
