Ramona H. Stahl

Ramona H. Stahl passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026 in El Paso, TX at the age of 80. She was born on January 4, 1946, in El Pueblito, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Ramona lived a life defined by love, faith, and devotion to others. A talented hairstylist by trade, she spent much of her life caring for those around her, always offering kindness, comfort, and compassion. She was especially devoted to her daughter, Kimberly, whom she cared for with unwavering love until Kimberly reached 33 years in of age, demonstrating a level of strength and selflessness that will never be forgotten.

Her faith was an important part of her life, and she found great joy and community in her church. Ramona will be remembered for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to her family.

She is survived by her son, Louis D. Stahl, Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Monica Stahl; and her cherished granddaughter, Ashlyn Marie Stahl. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Arnoldo Hernandez, Fidel Hernandez, Teresa Mainez, Rosa Castelia Hernandez, and Zoraida Marquez, along with many extended family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis D. Stahl. 

In celebration of her life, a visitation will be held at San Jose Funeral Home on May 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 12:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

Ramona’s life was a testament to faith, love, and selfless care for others. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
