Josefina Duran, lovingly known as Grandma Fina, was a kind, faithful, and devoted woman whose love for her family and her Lord was unwavering. She was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, where she lived her entire life surrounded by those she cherished most.

Grandma Fina found joy in the simple but meaningful moments; a good day on the town, a meal shared with loved ones, and time spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her warmth and laughter filled every room, and her home was always a place of comfort, love, and faith.

A devoted Catholic, she lived her life guided by prayer and grace. Her faith was the heart of who she was: a source of strength that she shared with her family every day through her kindness, her prayers, and her example of unconditional love.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Clementina and her parents Marina Elizalde Venzor and Primitivo Venzor. She is survived by her sister Marina Lares, beloved husband Jose Duran, and her daughters Cruz Betancourt, Irene Guevara, and Leticia Salazar (Ronald). She is also survived by her five grandchildren Mike Betancourt, Roxanne Pleasant, Stephanie Salazar, Andrew Griego, Danielle Salazar and five great-grandchildren, Aubrey Betancourt, Alizee Guzman, Emma Betancourt, Kaeden Pleasant and Michael Betancourt, and countless bonus grandchildren who will forever carry her love and legacy in their hearts.

Grandma Fina’s life was a testament to love, faith, and family; values she lived by and passed down to each generation. Though she has left this world, her spirit remains ever-present in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
