In Loving Memory of

Ricardo Leyva, Sr.

November 11, 1939 –November 1, 2025

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Ricardo Leyva, Sr. passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, at the age of 85. He was born in El Paso, Texas, where he spent his life surrounded by family, friends, and the community he loved.

Ricardo was a man of quiet strength, deep faith, and endless generosity. He was given the nickname “Superman” by his co-workers due to his strong work ethic and his willingness to help anyone in need. Whether fixing something around the house, lending a hand to a neighbor, or sharing words of wisdom, Ricardo gave his all with a humble and giving heart.

He found peace and joy in the simple things — fishing, working outdoors, and spending time under the open sky. But above all, Ricardo’s greatest joy was his family. His wife, children, and grandchildren were his greatest pride, and he cherished every moment shared with them. His love, kindness, and steady presence will forever live in their hearts.

Ricardo is survived by his devoted wife, Margarita Leyva, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage; his children, Noemi Leyva and Ricardo Leyva; his grandchildren, Sarah Garcia, Jacob Flores, and several other dearly loved grandchildren; and his great-grandchildren, Aaron, Isaac, and Aidan Garcia.

He will be remembered always for his strength, his humble heart, and the love he poured into his family. Though he is no longer by their side, his spirit will continue to guide and protect them, just as he always did.

May he rest in eternal peace, forever in the hearts of those who love him.
