Obituary for Julio César Sedano “Güero”

March 22, 1981 – November 22, 2025

With profound sadness and immense love, the family of Julio César Sedano, lovingly known as “Güero,” announces his passing on November 22, 2025, at the age of 44. Julio was living in Van Horn, Texas at the time of his passing, but his heart always belonged to the city where he grew up El Paso, Texas.

Born on March 22, 1981, Julio was the beloved son of Olga Sedano and his stepfather Eduardo Casas. He is survived with love by his wife Cecilia, his children Carla, Alexis, and Maritza, and his sisters Karina, Sandy, and Emily, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Julio lived life with joy, energy, and an unmistakable spirit. He loved spending time with his family, laughing until his stomach hurt, and dancing every chance he got. A dedicated Kansas City Chiefs fan, he celebrated every win like he was right there in the stadium. His sense of humor especially his famously terrible dad jokes could brighten even the hardest days. People were drawn to his warmth, his big heart, and his ability to make everyone feel welcome.

Julio leaves behind a legacy of love, family, faith, and unforgettable memories. Though his time on earth feels far too short, the impact he made on those who knew him will last a lifetime.

His family finds comfort knowing he rests in God’s hands and that his laughter, his stories, and his love will continue to echo in their hearts forever.
