It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Yolanda Hernandez, a beloved daughter, sister, cousin and friend, whose journey of life gracefully ended on 06/06/25 at the age of 70.

Yoly was a spirited individual whose love for music and sports was only matched by her deep affection for family. She enjoyed dancing the Cupid Shuffle and the YMCA and her personality shone through in her boundless love, warmth, and sense of humor. 

Born on 02/17/1955 in El Paso, Yoly's life was marked by her love and dedication to her mother and loved ones. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and the countless lives she touched with her kindness and generosity. We want to take a moment to thank the nurses from Sierra Providence and Three Oaks Hospice for the care they provided Yoly. 

She is survived by her mother Celia Hernandez, and sisters Josefina Hernandez, Connie Hernandez, and Terry Cereceres, as well as many cousins. 

She is preceded in death by grandparents Lorenzo and Josefina G. Hernandez. Siblings Federico Gomez, Ernesto Hernandez, and Lorenzo Hernandez Jr. , Maria Luisa Escajeda, Margarita Escajeda, Dolores Tornero and Lorenza Valenzuela .

The funeral mass will be at 12:00 PM Monday, June 16th at St. Ignatius Catholic Church (408 S. Park). The graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery ( 401 S Zaragoza Rd 79907).

We will forever miss you, Yoly, but it brings us comfort you are reunited with your loved ones in heaven.
