In Loving Memory of
Maria Inez Chavez
It is with sincere and deep sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful and inspirational person.God’s gift to all who knew her. Maria Inez Chavez, 78 years and young at heart, has gone to heaven to be with the rest of the angels. She is now and will always be with the people she loved that went before her. She graduated in the top 10 percent of her class in 1965 from Bowie High School in El Paso, TX. Friend to all and foe to none, she was an inspiration to our family and friends alike. Mary, as she was affectionately known, is survived by her truest friend Sergio D. Chavez, her grateful husband of 60 happy years. Mary had 3 wonderful and successful children, Ms. Delia Chavez, Mrs. Rose Moreno, and Mr. Miguel Chavez. Her onlyson-in-law, Mr. Henry Moreno and Miguel’s life partner Ms. Raquel Lopez. Her beloved grandchildren Jacob Moreno, Emma Moreno, and Isaiah Chavez. Mary has two surviving brothers, Mr. Milton Sanchez and Mr. David Sanchez, plus their two beautiful families. Mary’s three sisters-in-law,Carmen, Concha, and Armida plusmany nephews, nieces and family members in Mexico, Canada, El Paso,Florida and California. Her loving cousins Joann Killenbec, Sandy Mullins, herhusband Jack Mullins and families. Mary’s unconditional love and grace is an unbreakable bond that keeps this family together. God grant her peace forever; we will always love you. Thank You.
