Rodolfo Cosme Reyes “Rofy”, 69, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 8, 2026. He was born on November 26, 1956, in San Elizario, Texas to Juan Cosme Reyes and Manuela R. Reyes.

Rofy was a hardworking man who spent much of his life enjoying farm work and the simple things life had to offer. He was known for his free spirit, his love of laughter, and the deep love he carried for his family. He cherished spending time with those he loved most and created many memories that his family will hold close forever. He enjoyed relaxing, sharing stories, and living life in his own genuine and peaceful way.

Rofy is preceded in death by his loving wife, Hilda Solis Reyes; his parents, Juan Cosme Reyes and Manuela R. Reyes; and his siblings, Gloria Reyes, Ruben Reyes, Roberto “Bobby” Reyes, and Rafael “Pete” Reyes.

He is survived by his beloved son, Ruben Cosme Reyes; his brother, Raul Reyes; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Rosary beginning at 6:00 PM at San Jose Funeral Home, 10950 Pellicano Dr., El Paso, Texas.

Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at San Elizario Catholic Church, 1556 San Elizario Rd., San Elizario, TX 79849, followed by interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery at 12:30 PM, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79907.

Pallbearers will be Abel Valenzuela, James Romero, David Ramirez Jr., Dorian Rios, Mark Arrieta, and Tommy Rios.

Rofy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
