Ronald P. Williams, 88, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, in El Paso, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on February 12, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, Ron lived a life guided by faith, integrity, and unwavering dedication.

From an early age, Ron displayed a strong work ethic. As a young boy of seven or eight, he began working for a neighbor selling her homegrown vegetables to the community—a humble beginning that marked the start of a lifelong commitment to hard and conscientious work. After serving two years in the U.S. Army at Fort Bliss, he embarked on a successful professional career that culminated in his retirement from Triangle Electric. There, he was recognized as a top-producing salesman and received commendations for his outstanding performance and professionalism. Ron had a natural gift for connecting with people—he never met a stranger.

A man of deep and abiding faith, Ron was an active member of Bethany Christian Church and served faithfully with the Gideons for many years. His love for God and his relationship with his Savior Jesus Christ was central to his life, shaping his actions and inspiring those around him.

Ron shared 41 cherished years with his beloved wife Peggy. Together they built a life filled with love and companionship. He was also a devoted brother, uncle, and friend whose warm heart, generous spirit, and robust laugh brought joy to all who knew him.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Peggy; sisters Mary Plum and Linda Root (Bill); nephews Mark Root (Laurie), David Root (Pam), Michael Plum, and David Plum; nieces Diane Brewster (Steve) and Laura Graham (Tony); as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his father Leo Pat Williams; mother Ethel Virginia Williams; and brother Maynard Thomas Williams.

In addition to time spent with family and friends, Ron enjoyed playing golf and watching sports—especially baseball. A lifelong fan of the New York Yankees, he followed the team with enduring passion.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on April 17, 2025, at 12:00pm at Bethany Christian Church located at 10453 Springwood Dr., El Paso, TX 79925.

Visitation with the family will take place prior to the service at 11:00am.

Following the celebration, burial will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, TX 79906 at 2:00 p.m.

Ron’s legacy of kindness, faithfulness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his memory bring peace and comfort to those who mourn his passing.
