Delia C. Morales

Delia Carrasco Morales (Miss Dee) was ninety-six years old from El Paso, Texas. She sadly left us on Saturday, August 11, 2024.

Delia is preceded in death by her sisters: Ester Garcia, Avelina Olivas, Julia Granado, and her two brothers Urbano Carrasco and Adolfo Carrasco. Delia Morales was born on June 17, 1928 in Valentine, Texas to Magdalena Carrasco.

Delia went to Cosmetology College and fulfilled her dreams by owning her own beauty shop in Van Horn, Texas. On her later years she moved to El Paso where she furthered her education by attending El Paso Community College and taking business courses.

After several years in El Paso she moved to the Bay area in California and worked as a senior counselor and a home care provider to the elderly. After many years she moved back to El Paso, Texas.

Her passion was traveling and focusing on her Christian religion and on her faith in Christ. She was very giving to her Christian denomination. She was the joy and laughter of her get togethers with her friends and family. During her later years her favorite pastime was reading Christian books, magazines, doing word search, and playing bingo at the nursing home.

We will always carry her in our memories and in our hearts forever as a loving, caring, and religious person.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
