Jesus Sergio (Chuchi) Robert passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 71 in Austin, Texas after a prolonged illness.

Chuchi was born in El Paso, Texas on August 11, 1952 to his loving parents Mario C. and Julia Velasquez Robert. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Mario Robert(Marjorie Ann), John Robert, and Jose (Pepe) Robert.

Following graduation from El Paso High School in 1971, Chuchi served in the United States Army. He settled in Austin,Texas, married, and became the proud father of Jesus Robert and Megan Robert Meister (Jon). He is survived by 5 beautiful grandchildren Anthony, Chloe, Brandon, Jeremy and Julia.

Chuchi is also survived by his four sisters, Elodia Robert, Olivia Robert Felix (Alfonso), Julie Robert Sala (Ray), Tessy Robert and sister-in-law Letty Armendariz Robert. He was cherished by numerous nieces and nephews. Their stories and memories are magical.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 1, 12024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a recitation of the rosary at 11:30 a.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935 (915) 590-8700. Funeral mass at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 11700 Pebble Hills Dr., 79936. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Avenue, 79906.
