It is with great sadness and solemn hearts that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved Richard Q. Holguin who departed on April 27th 2025 in his home in El Paso Texas at the age of 72, whose presence will be sorely missed. He fought and won a battle with cancer in 2019 only to be diagnosed with a different cancer in April 2024. He was strong and he fought hard and over the last year with the help of his family and his provider Mel, he was able to have more independence and a better quality of life. His grandkids and great grandchildren brought him great joy. His friend Jeff would come and visit him and was a great support to him when he was feeling down. He was blessed to be able to live at home until he was called to God.

He was born in Salinas, California and grew up in King City. He proudly served in the US Army for four years and was stationed in El Paso Texas, which he made his home. He retired as an over the road truck driver, which took him all over the country. Whenever he had a chance, he would visit family in his travels. He loved action movies and westerns. He loved bowling and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Although Richard is no longer with us, he will continue to light up the room in spirit and bring joy to those he knew in this life. He is forever in our hearts and loving memories and will eternally be imprinted in the souls he touched by his good deeds and positivity we all embraced by being around him.

Richard Holguin was preceded in death by his parents Alfred Holguin and Helen Quevedo, his brother Alfred Holguin Jr., and his wife Eve Holguin. He is survived by his brothers John Holguin and Robert Holguin, his son Richard Holguin Jr. and his four daughters Stephanie Holguin, Nicole Arzate, Amanda Castillo and Della Macias and their children and great grandchildren.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
