Veronica Ortiz Jimenez, at the age of 57, went home to be with our Lord God in Heaven on April 22, 2025. She was reunited with her parents Isela and Carlos Ortiz. Veronica was born December 30, 1967, and was raised in El Paso, Texas. She was a hardworking, loving, person who was always there for her family. As a mother, no words can describe the joy and love she shared with her daughter, Eliana Jimenez, age 20. Veronica will also be deeply missed by her husband of 26 years Hector Jimenez, her sister Irma DeAvila, brothers Carlos Ortiz Jr. and Francisco Ortiz, brother-in-law Samuel DeAvila, and sisters-in-law Daniela Anderson Ortiz and Grace Ortiz. Visitation for Mrs. Jimenez will be on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at San Jose Funeral Home-East located at 10950 Pellicano Dr.. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 11:30 A.M. at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away (Rev 21:4).” Mommy, we love you and we will be together again one day.
