In Loving Memory of our Beloved

Calistra “Lita” Esquivel

Our beloved Mother/Grandmother received her wings on November 2, 2024. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Lita was born November 30, 1935 to Guadalupe Alvarado and Rodolfo Espinosa. She is survived by her husband Gilberto Esquivel, her brother Ignacio Espinosa, and her children Elena Ramirez, Patricia Alvarez, Alejandro Espinoza, Julia Espinosa, Virgil Esquivel, and Christina Espinosa. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. Lita was welcomed into Heaven by her 7 siblings and her daughter Bertha Alicia Fernandez. Our angel Lita was the heart and soul of our family. She was the life of all parties. Her spirit was uplifting and full of life. Her nurturing and loving personality was exhibited by the many grandchildren she helped care for. She was always full of life and positivity. Our family will celebrate her life the way she would have wanted us to, by Dancing, Laughing, and Loving one another. Lita IS our Dancing Queen!

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 6:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935 (915) 590-8700. Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 18, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N. Clark Dr., 79905. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd, 79907.
