In Loving Memory of

Dina Jones

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Dina Jones, who entered into eternal rest on March 13, 2026, in El Paso, Texas.

If we could have envisioned the essence of a best friend, confidante, and truly loving soul, it would undoubtedly, Dina. She embodied a remarkable blend of grit, tenacity, and unconditional love.

While she was human and far from perfect, her spirit radiated warmth and compassion. Her blunt honesty often brought clarity to difficult situations, and her witty sense of humor could light up any room, reminding us all not to take life too seriously.

Dina touched the lives of everyone she encountered, leaving a profound impact that is felt by many and will be missed so very much. She had an extraordinary gift for making others feel heard, understood, and accepted, regardless of their circumstances. Through her example, she taught us the importance of empathy over judgment and encouraged us to understand rather than criticize.

She lived by a simple yet profound truth: give from the heart without expecting anything in return or feeling any regret. Dina always carried a quiet mission to lift others up, it was a trait her daughters knew best through the fierce love and constant encouragement she gave them throughout their lives.

Dina dedicated over 23 years of service to the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES). With an adventurous heart, she spent her career serving those who serve, taking special pride in her time stationed in Kuwait.

Dina’s life was a testament to selfless love, and her legacy will continue to inspire us as we strive to carry forward her lessons of courage, compassion, love and generosity.

She is survived by her loving husband, Linwood Jones; her daughters Carrie and Ruth; her five grandchildren, sister Elisabeth, brother Flavio and a wide circle of family and friends who will miss her immensely.
