On Friday June 21, 2024 Guillermo Padilla Jr., age 49, passed away surrounded by his family. Memo was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend. He leaves behind his loving wife Rosie Padilla, sons Luis A. Garcia, Samuel C. Padilla, Adrian I. Padilla, granddaughter Isabella A. Garcia, mother Delia Padilla, brothers Robert and Andy Padilla. He is also survived by many extended family and friends to honor and cherish his memory. Preceded by his father Guillermo Padilla Sr. He served in the U.S. Army, where he received his training as a surgical tech and where he found his love for the medical field that became a stepping stone to his fulfilling career. Memo was selfless with his time and commitment in helping to provide for his family. His passion for his family spoke volumes and stayed with him throughout his life, and found solace and joy spending time fishing with his boys. His life touched the lives of countless colleagues, and friends with his kindness and wisdom. His sense of humor and infectious smile brightened the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. Memo's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live in our hearts forever.

He will truly be missed.

Visitation for Mr. Padilla will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a recitation of the rosary at 6:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935 (915) 590-8700. Funeral mass Monday, July 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette Avenue, 79907. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd., 79907.
