Jorge Adalberto Contreras Jr., 48, passed away on March 15, 2025, in his hometown of El Paso, Texas. He was born on April 28, 1976, in El Paso to his loving mother, Maria Contreras. 


Jorge was a man of immense strength and resilience, battling illness for most of his life yet never letting it define him. He fought through every challenge with courage and determination, serving as a role model to those around him. His unwavering spirit and devotion to his family held them together through life's hardships. He taught his loved ones the power of perseverance and the importance of never giving up. 


He was preceded in death by his wife, Leticia Contreras, and his brother, Lorenzo Ruiz. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his children, Amber Contreras and Lorenzo Ruiz; his brothers, Juan Ruiz and Salvador Contreras; and his extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory. 


Services to honor and celebrate Jorge’s life will be held at San Jose Funeral Home on Friday, March 21, 2025.

- Visitation: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM 

- Mass/Funeral Service: 12:00 PM 


Jorge’s strength, love, and unwavering spirit will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
