 Visitation will be held at San Jose Funeral Home-East 10950 Pellicano Dr. in El Paso on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4pm to 8pm with Celebration of Life Prayer Service at 6pm. Family, friends, and all whose lives have been touched by Luis are welcome to come to reminisce in his memory. Thank you for all the love and support.

Luis Ernesto Hernandez, 69, passed away on January 14, 2025. He was born on May 23, 1955, in El Paso, TX his lifelong hometown. He was born to the late Ana Maria Lopez, and Juan Urbina Hernandez. He was a proud graduate of Bowie High School. Luis was kindhearted, funny with a unique sense of humor, and made an impact on everyone he interacted with. He is survived by his loving wife; Marina Hernandez, his five daughters; Elizabeth Ruelas (Ruben), Maria Gunter (Alfred), Cynthia Hernandez (Manny), Melissa Hernandez (Maribel), Ilse Ortiz (Isaac), his son; Mark Solis, eight loving grandchildren (Liana, Bryan, Alysa, Angel, Liam, Luke, Gael, and Luis Andres) and two siblings; Maria Laura Betancourt, Ruben Hernandez.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
