In Loving Memory of Maria Consuelo Salazar

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria Consuelo Salazar, age 83, of El Paso, Texas, who passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Maria was born on May 17, 1941, in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Manuel and Guadalupe Guardiola.

Maria touched the lives of so many with her kindness, generosity and sense of humor. She brought joy and comfort wherever she went. She was deeply loved by all who knew her.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Hector Salazar, as well as her brothers, Eduardo Guardiola, Jesus Guardiola, and Guillermo Guardiola, and her sister, Ana Gordin.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Saenz and her husband, Frank Saenz, and Mayra Gutierrez and her husband, Jose Gutierrez; her beloved grandchildren, Gabriel Gutierrez and Sebastian Gutierrez; her sisters, Margarita Guardiola and Ester Mavy; and her brothers, Fernando Guardiola and Alejandro Guardiola.

Services and viewing will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, at San Jose Funeral Home, 601 S. Virginia St., El Paso, TX 79901, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a Rosary beginning at 12:00 PM. The procession will follow, leading to a Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 2:30 PM, located at 602 South Oregon, El Paso, TX 79901. A Celebration of Life will be held at Majestic Party Hall, 1721 Saul Kleinfeld, El Paso, TX 79936, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Maria Consuelo’s life.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to her family, caregivers, medical staff, and friends who provided care and support during her final days.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
