María Leticia Ortega, 72 , passed away on April 1, 2024. She was born on November 20, in Cuidad Juarez, Chihuahua.
 
She grew up in Juarez then moved to El Paso at a young age, then moved to Los Angeles where she spent her early adult life. She then made El Paso her home for the rest of her adult life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, shopping, and just being out and about. She hated just being home.
 
She precedes her twin sister Maria Elvia Sanchez.
 
She is survived by her 3 sons and 2 daughters Freddy, Gavy, Adrian, Jessica, and Diana. Also by her 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
