With saddened hearts we have lost the Matriarch of the Luevano family. Maria Luisa Luevano was born on January 8, 1931, in Cuidad Juarez. Died on Thursday July 4, 2024 in El Paso, Texas. Survived by sister Nicolasa Gaytan of California. Brothers Natividad Luevano and Ramon Luevano of Texas and Jose S. Luevano of Colorado. Maria Luisa never married nor had children, but she was Godmother to many. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by parents Santiago and Teodora Luevano. Brothers Francisco, Alberto, Eusebio, Antonio, and Pablo Luevano. Visitation will be Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935 (915) 590-8700.
