Randy Lee Marshall

Randy Lee Marshall passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, at the age of 69, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering love, quiet strength, and countless memories that will continue to bring smiles to those who knew him. He lived a life rooted in family, faith, adventure, and service, and he never missed an opportunity to enjoy the simple things that made life meaningful.

Randy was born on July 25, 1957, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father, John Marshall, and his stepfather, Numa Courreges.

He is survived by his loving wife, Leticia Marshall; his mother, Yvonne Courreges; his sister, Danielle Courreges; his daughter, Randi Marquez (Jose); his sons, Jonathan Marshall (Sarah), Patrick Marshall, and Abraham Marshall; his stepson, Eduardo Nuñez; and his cherished grandchildren, Dominic Marquez, Sophia Marquez, Yamil Nuñez, Hudson Marshall, and Apollo Marshall, all of whom were a constant source of pride and joy.

An avid outdoorsman, Randy felt most at home under an open sky. Whether he was camping, hiking, or spending a day at the shooting range with his children, he believed the best memories were made outdoors. He was a devoted supporter of the Boy Scouts and took great pride in encouraging young men to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. He was always eager to encourage the next generation to learn, explore, and appreciate nature.

Family road trips were among his favorite adventures, and no summer felt complete without loading everyone up for a day at Monster Jam. He had an eye for the things that sparked nostalgia and wonder, collecting Hot Wheels, commemorative coins, and firearms, and he never passed up the chance to admire a beautifully restored classic car. His hobbies weren't just collections—they were stories, conversations, and excuses to spend time with the people he loved.


Professionally, Randy dedicated over 30 years to the Federal Aviation Administration as a radar technician, helping maintain critical aviation infrastructure throughout the Southwest. His work often happened behind the scenes, but it reflected the same reliability, precision, and dedication that defined every part of his life.

Above all else, Randy was a fierce protector, provider, and champion for his family. He loved deeply, laughed often, and had a knack for turning ordinary moments into lasting memories. Whether offering practical advice, sharing one of his well-timed jokes, or simply showing up when he was needed, he made those around him feel safe and loved. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his love, values, and stories will live on through the family he cherished so dearly.

Visitation will be Monday, August 10, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 11:00 a.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Drive, 79935. Interment will take place at Evergreen East Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. where friends and family will lay him to rest
