Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at San Jose Funeral Home East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., El Paso, TX 79935, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 PM. A gathering in remembrance of Salvador will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at The Sweet Spot Event Venue, 1421 Lee Trevino A3, El Paso, TX 79936 from 5-9 PM. All who knew and loved Salvador are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.

 


 




Salvador Contreras, 60, passed away in his home in El Paso, TX, on April 20, 2025.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Norma Contreras; his mother, Maria Contreras; his children, Leandra (Aaron) Agins, Alison Contreras, and Daniel Contreras; and his cherished grandchildren, Olivia and Charlotte Agins. He is also survived by his siblings, Sergio Contreras, Sylvia Tillbrook, and Samuel Contreras.

Salvador was preceded in death by his father, Salvador Contreras, and his in-laws, Pablo and Celia Hinojos.

Born on March 22, 1965, in Mexico to Salvador and Maria Contreras. In 1983, Salvador graduated from Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He married Norma in 1986, and together they built a life full of love, laughter, and purpose in El Paso, where they managed their business, L&A Tech Supply.

Over the course of 39 years, Salvador and Norma raised three children and welcomed two grandchildren. He was known as a kind, patient, and hilarious father who always encouraged his family to pursue their dreams. His unwavering support and love will be deeply missed.
