Services to be held at San Jose Funeral Home East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., El Paso, TX 79935 on Friday, February 7th from 10:00-1:00 followed by a burial at 2:00 at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd.

Teresa Marin Hernandez (Guera, Crystalina) born February 4, 1946, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 1, 2025. She is predeceased by her parents Florencia (Ontiveros) and Alfonso Marin, her husband of 53 years Rogelio (Mousie) Hernandez, brother Alfonso (Chacho) Marin, Jr., sisters Maria de Jesus (Chita) M. Ogas and Carmela Armendariz. She leaves behind her siblings: Ofelia Zubia, Frances Hernandez, Lorenzo Marin, Estela Delgado, Salvador Marin, Jesus Marin, and Javier Marin.  Her children, Carmen Marin and her husband, Joe Bejarano; Bonnie and her husband, Jim Simmons; and Eric and his wife, Cyndy Hernandez and Argelic Olivas and Cindy Marin whom she considered daughters. Her beloved grandchildren: Valerie Aguilar, Manny Jaime, Michael Jaime, Steven Austin, Nicholas Austin, Christian Hernandez, Daemon Hernandez and Jaedon Hernandez.  Her great-grandchildren, Taylor Aguilar, Daniel Aguilar, Grace Jaime, Jason Jaime, Dominic Jaime, Sophia Jaime, Lauren Jaime, Roman Austin, Remy Austin, and Callan Simmons. 

Guera started her career at Farah Manufacturing where she worked for many years. She then became the assistant manager at Baskin Robbins. She retired working at a doctor’s office in medical records. She enjoyed making crafts, sewing, crocheting, singing, dancing, bowling and playing pool. Her beautiful green eyes and her gorgeous smile lit up every room she walked into.

Services to be held at San Jose Funeral Home East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., El Paso, TX 79935 on Friday, February 7th from 10:00-1:00 followed by a burial at 2:00 at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd.
