Our beloved Rafael Blanco Jr. age 70, passed away peacefully on November 8th, 2024. He was born on January 13th, 1954 in El Paso, TX to Rafael Blanco and Alicia Blanco.

Rafael was a loving and caring brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a Burges High School Graduate and received his Bachelors Degree at the University of Texas at El Paso. Rafael dedicated his career in IT for the Ysleta Independent School District for 35 years. He also dedicated himself as a Knight of Columbus in the Santo Nino de Atocha Church for several years. Best of all, Rafael had an immense passion for music, guitars, dancing, The Dallas Cowboys and spending valuable time with his family and friends. He enjoyed collecting hats from various trips, loved to eat baked goods (especially key lime pie), and never failed to make you laugh. He will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rafael Blanco and Alicia Blanco; daughter Alexandra Blanco. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Dora Blanco; daughters Vivian Blanco, Paola Enriquez, and Claudia Gilbertson; grandchildren Diego Enriquez and Rachel Enriquez; and his siblings Thomas Blanco and Marie Isela Rodriguez.

Memorial service will be held at San Jose Funeral Home-East on 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935 (915) 590-8700 on Friday, December 6th, 2024 from 9:00am- 12:00pm with rosary service at 11:00am with internment to immediately follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907
